The Wilson County Sheriff's Office and the NCSBI are currently on scene of an active meth lab located at 7314 Rock Ridge - Sims Road in western Wilson County.

This investigation started today around 10:40 am when deputies received information of a possible meth lab in this area. The Sheriff's Office P.O.S.T. (Problem Oriented Sheriff's Team) and an Agent from the NCSBI located the lab inside of 7314 Rock Ridge - Sims Rd.

When the lab was found the officers backed out of the residence and called for a special response unit from the SBI to handle the search. Currently along with the sheriff's office and the SBI, the Rock Ridge VFD and Wilson EMS are on the scene.
