Child Abuse Case # 5, Day Five: Two Children Discovered Inside Home Of Active Meth Lab, Suspects Charged
Mo commentary: The Jennifer Ibanez thing has taken up Mo's time today and Mo almost forgot the "Daily Child Abuse" self challenge to see if one abuse case each day for a week. Sadly, it's far to easy. Mo is thankful that there are only two more days left to the challenge.
The Wilson County Sheriff's Office and the NCSBI are currently on scene of an active meth lab located at 7314 Rock Ridge - Sims Road in western Wilson County.
This investigation started today around 10:40 am when deputies received information of a possible meth lab in this area. The Sheriff's Office P.O.S.T. (Problem Oriented Sheriff's Team) and an Agent from the NCSBI located the lab inside of 7314 Rock Ridge - Sims Rd.
When the lab was found the officers backed out of the residence and called for a special response unit from the SBI to handle the search. Currently along with the sheriff's office and the SBI, the Rock Ridge VFD and Wilson EMS are on the scene.
